SMT - Indio Titanium Driver Head

The first of the SMT line to be patented (in China), this 430cc, 100% titanium club hits more solid and longer than its size would indicate. Bigger isn't always better.

Designed with many of the same features as the Babylon, the patented crown design of the Indio stands out from the crowd. The revolutionary cross-hatch crown has been forged with weight reduction and rigidity in mind. The bottom of the crown has been forged with a different, tear drop design which also reduces weight and increases rigidity to strengthen the crown. The result: a blend of technology and functionality that delivers a crown that is lighter but will withstand the violent effects of ball and club impact better than traditional manufacturing techniques.

So, what did we do to counter the weight that we removed from the crown? We cut deep angular fins to add more product area to a sole of similar size. We were able to add weight in all of the 'right' places without welding weight chips onto the inside of the soleplate or through the addition of copper weight or screw systems.

The Indio gives you more weight where you need it—and less where you don't—and a solid feel and sound that let's you know you're hitting SMT.
